University Grants Commission and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) have given guidelines to every accredited institution to establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). Further, S.95(4) of Maharashtra Public University Act 2016 requires every college to establish Internal Quality Assurance Committee as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and State Government issued, from time to time. Accordingly, the college formed IQAC on 21st July 2017. IQAC is the statutory body to channelize all efforts and measures of the institution towards promoting its holistic academic excellence. As per the NAAC guidelines, formation of IQAC shall be a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC shall become a part of the institution’s system and work towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of institutions.
